French Onion Soup

We don't skimp on the onions in this old time favorite. Enjoy as is, or broil in the oven in French onion soup bowls with bread and mozzarella cheese (see recipe in "cheeseballs & more" page or click HERE for photo with recipe).

To prepare:

In a pot, mix contents of package with 5 cups water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer on medium low for 10 to 15 minutes until onions are soft.

Serves 5.

Ingredients:

Onions, sugars (glucose solids), salt, onion powder, caramel colour (sulphites), beef broth, beef fat, natural flavor (milk), disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate.
